This premise is strengthened by a study conducted by Microsoft, which highlights the benefits of this work modality, because it reduces the costs of productivity and motivation of employees, reaching savings of up to 30%.
According to Microsoft, companies can count on savings in aspects such as travel, office headquarters and energy expenditure. This modality of work can be easily adopted and expanded due to the penetration of broadband internet access in homes in the region.
According to the results of the survey of 3,600 workers from 36 countries, 60% believe that when they work remotely they can be more productive, but only 40% estimate that their companies would be willing to promote this work system.
To support the process of adapting to teleworking, Microsoft, together with Datco and the consulting firm Jobing, developed software that seeks to facilitate teleworking for companies and workers.
With this software, employees will be able to access to fulfill their functions from a computer or other mobile devices, such as tablets, smartphones, among other mobile devices to which a corporate application can be added.
This software will allow a fluid communication between employee and boss through phone, mail, but also other options such as videoconferencing, chat, blog or wall.
