Aramark has installed Onelan digital signage at Codelco, Chile's largest mining company. The company was hired by Codelco to manage and operate all of its canteens. He wanted an automatic system to display menus in the 30 cafeterias of the mines.
Each place exhibited real samples of each dish on the menu. Due to the conditions of the cafeterias, the dishes were not preserved very well and when the end of the day approached, their appearance was not too appetizing. With a Digital Signage solution, this problem disappeared.
The solution had to show the right menu options, including the dishes of the day and information corresponding to a campaign on healthy eating, with caloric values and color code for each dish: green for vegetables, yellow for meats and red for less healthy options.
Aramark chose Digital Signage Onelan for its features especially suitable for the case, its ability to broadcast different songs with the text in motion and the possibility of connecting with different RSS feeds.
The company Grupo Clan, Onelan's distributor in Chile, manages the system via DSM. Organize the menu of the month in advance, including alternative dishes, while the staff of the cafeterias makes use of the possibilities of the system to instantly change the dishes that are sold out during the day.
