We are looking for bigger and better projects

Ernesto Guerrero, audity

Mexico. The Mexican company Audity focuses on integrations for the residential and commercial sectors. For this 2023, it has decided to implement a new strategy to face the market.

Ernesto Guerrero, commercial management and operations of Audity, told AVI Latin America about his new strategy and vision of the industry. "The year got off to a slow start compared to 2022. This is because our market strategy changed, we are on the lookout for bigger and better projects. We currently have in our portfolio around 25 large projects to be confirmed to be executed".

On the trends in the industry in Mexico, he stressed that digital signage has a great growth. In addition, what is related to multi-zone audio, as well as electronic security systems and fiber optics.

Regarding the shortage of equipment, he pointed out that "2022 was very complicated by that issue, especially in large projects that we had closed during 2021. If we had several setbacks in deliveries that were solved mainly with substitutes from other brands. In 2023 we already learned the lesson and although we feel that the shortage is not the same, all the designs and technological proposals we make are based on stocks or products that will not have a problem in the supply".

Finally, Ernesto Guerrero mentioned that he expects to find at InfoComm Show 2023 new trends in the corporate and commercial markets, such as collaboration solutions, networks, fiber optics, professional and fixed audio.

"We see with good eyes this 2023, the market worldwide between inflation and other issues is let's say a little "weird", but in Mexico I feel that the situation is defined with a sustained and positive demand, because we have a strong currency that is reflected in a better exchange rate and controlled inflation. In summary, we expect growth of at least 20% over 2022 sales."
