Brazil. "The Masked Singer Brasil," the latest in the global television franchise of reality tv singing competition, premiered in Brazil weeks ago with claypaky Sharpy and Mythos 2 props, illuminating the stunning stage at WTC Golden Hall, São Paulo.
Spectrun Design e Iluminação supplied 24 Sharpy mobile beams, 24 Mythos 2 spotlights and light beams and other Claypaky visual effects moving heads for the new series to be broadcast on TV Globo.
"When I was invited by endemol Shine Brasil and director Marcelo Amiky to work on this project, which is unprecedented in Brazil for its size and scope, we needed precision and high-performance equipment, so Claypaky was my top choice for luminaires," said Alexandre Augusto, lighting designer and cinematographer.
Inspired by the Fibonacci sequence, the lighting crew filled the entire spiral-shaped ceiling of the stage with the Sharpys' "lightning and attack speed." And they deployed the versatile Mythos 2 "everywhere" where they needed a hybrid luminaire capable of performing both point light and beam of light functions. The result: a dynamically lit stage as striking as the cast of masked singers.
Vinicius Gonçalves Costa is the programmer and lighting operator of the show. HPL Company - Brazil is the exclusive distributor of Claypaky in the country and Mauricio Brando is the Regional Sales Manager of Claypaky / ADB for Latin America.
