Chile. The 60th edition of the Viña del Mar International Song Festival was held from February 25 to March 1, 2019 outdoors at the Quinta Vergara Amphitheater, featured 500 SQM Absen LED on stage to achieve visual excellence and provide the best experience for fans.
This year, the six-day music event featured local and international artists such as Felipe Abello, Wisin & Yandel, Becky G, Marc Anthony, Backstreet Boys and more. With more than 15,000 local viewers, the event was broadcast live internationally on Chilean radio and television by TVN, Canal 13, Megavisión or Chilevisión, regularly breaking audience records.
The event has a creative and elaborate stage that integrates the latest AV technologies, including video, lighting, audio and LED, etc., to develop a bold and great show aesthetic and offer an unforgettable multisensory experience.
A combination of six semicircular LED screens of Absen Polaris3.9 and Absen D4V Outdoor on stage was used as the background and input for the exit and entry of the artists. The LED videowalls were able to play videos, images and live transmission of the presentation. A number of AIRborne LED strips and landscapes also added impressive factors to the show. At the rear of the seating area, three Absen P4mm LED plates were mounted to reproduce key show messages and sponsorship information.
