After experiencing during the last years an evolution of the market slower than you would like, the audiovisual industry will experience an annual growth that will exceed 5% in the coming years, highlighting Mexico as one of the countries that will have a greater development of the AV world.
This is clear from the latest market study presented by AVIXA, AV Industry Outlook and Trends Analysis, IOTA, which indicates that globally it is the American continent that had a higher percentage of the market at the end of 2017. While Europe stood at 23.7% and Asia at 34.9%, America reached 36.6%.
By segments, the study indicates that between corporate, live events, entertainment and retail, 65% of the AV industry projects in the region will be developed in the next four years. And by country, expectations indicate that Mexico will have the highest growth in the region, even doubling the expectations of the Brazilian market. About Colombia, it stands out that it has 14% of the professional AV market in all of Latin America.
Undoubtedly, these results present an optimistic outlook on the professional AV industry for the coming years. Moreover, if one takes into account that growth expectations for Latin America are 6.3% per year until 2022, exceeding the global growth figure of 5%.
