Sustainability consists of ensuring that the development of today's needs does not affect the needs of future generations, although it is common for many to relate the term to ecology or the environment. 

One of the segments that presents the least growth within the audiovisual industry is home automation. Although more and more technologies are developed that are easy to use and accessible to the end user, this segment is not growing as it should in Latin America.

The vertiginous advance of technology has made the audiovisual industry expand its borders in recent years and increasingly close collaboration with other sectors that previously operated independently. This situation can lead to greater opportunities or problems, depending on how the situation is addressed. Let's look at some cases:

The Latin American economy went from a very positive few years to a fall in 2015 from which even in 2016 it does not recover and is even accentuated in some countries of the region, in which the situation is aggravated with other factors such as political and exchange rate.

With the congress and expo that will be held from November 9 to 12 in Bogotá, Colombia, the third audiovisual event of the year in Latin America is celebrated and consolidates TecnoMultimedia InfoComm as the meeting place for AV professionals in the region.
