Latin America. The Spanish manufacturer DAS Audio is the first company to join the new LiveTec expo and congress, aimed at live events and entertainment. AVI Latin America spoke with Leandro Arguello, the company's sales director for Latam, who explained why it is linked to the fair and how the market has been in the region this year.
"The first motivation is to believe in the work of LiveTec, of LatinPress, of the entire team that is behind bringing that show, of creating that show in Miami. Second, Miami is the capital of Latin America, it is the headquarters of our subsidiary in the United States and the place in the world where there are more projects carried out by DAS Audio, if we talk about bars, restaurants, clubs, sports arenas, soccer stadiums and ships. There is no other place in the world that has such a presence of DAS," he said.
He added that "as Miami is our home in the Americas, we want everyone to come and participate in this new fair, because we will be there to present new products and show them all the benefits of DAS systems, both for shows and for installations in clubs, bars and hotels."
Regarding the behavior of the Latin American market for DAS Audio in 2023, the executive highlighted that it has returned to growth after Covid, improving and recovering territories where the brand has a presence.
"Latin America has always been a very important territory. DAS managed to understand the audio market in a different way, it has a lot to do with learning from Latin America for almost 30 years. That's why we're very happy with the good results. We have been able to improve a lot of our strategy of commercial support to our distributors and also from the point of view of the technical management of our projects. This year we are going to close above the expectations we had at the beginning of the year," he explained.
This accompaniment to the projects of its distributors and integrators is part of a comprehensive strategy of attention to the market of DAS Audio, which includes technical support at no cost for the projects, seeking to provide the best solution, not necessarily the most expensive.
"No one understands more about our products than we do, no one knows better what the technical variables of application of our systems are than we do, so what we do is make this knowledge available to our customers at zero cost, to guide them so that the final experience of the project where it is applied is excellent. We are close, we follow the projects and we participate in the start-up. So there is a great possibility that the end customer, the intermediary and us as a brand, will be really satisfied," said Leandro Arguello.
