In Mexico they will exhibit new control and lighting

Mexico. TecnoMultimedia InfoComm announced that in its sixth edition in Mexico, it will demonstrate solutions with the latest integrated technologies in terms of lighting and intelligent control of homes and buildings, such as the Internet of Things, interactive mapping, 4K applications, biometrics, immersive video, bring your own device, LED screens of the highest resolution, LED lamps with special effects and video projection for outdoors.

The trend in constructions of all kinds is to be increasingly intelligent and to achieve this, the implementation of technology must follow certain methods and guidelines so that it operates with the greatest safety and efficiency.

One of the globally recognized standards in this area is that of KNX – an organization that will be present at the event--, for all home and building control applications, ranging from lighting, blinds, security systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, monitoring, water control, energy management, to appliances and audio and video devices.

Among the projects of this type that KNX has certified in the United States are the Cincinnati Museum of Art, Ohio, the World Trade Center and Reser Stadium, both in Portland, Oregon, the home of baseball legend Eddie Murray and the House of Rock in Los Angeles, California.

"The technological evolution is unstoppable and it is in this type of exhibitions where users can learn about the latest innovations in the areas we cover. Specifically in terms of intelligent control and lighting, attendees will be able to see attractive demonstrations of the applications of the aforementioned solutions in homes, offices and buildings to make them more comfortable, safe and accessible to their users," said Sergio Gaitán, Country Manager Mexico of InfoComm International, one of the organizers of the event.

SGM Light is one of the manufacturers that will exhibit its lighting technology at TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico 2016. Ben Díaz, one of its most experienced designers  , have the vision that each project to illuminate an architectural construction is an "urban platform" and to build it is required to see the usefulness of the space and its adaptation to the environment, so that it is practical, it needs durability, visual quality and energy efficiency. To make an impact, it requires lights with controls capable of transforming the space through multiple effects and the interaction that the user has with it.

For his part, Dave Pedigo, Senior Director of Emerging Technologies at CEDIA, the world's leading authority in the home technology industry – also present at the expo – defined, together with the team of the Global Technology Council of the organization, a series of future predictions in the field of smart homes (cited in the blog of Ed Wenck of the same organization), here are a few:

• Mixed reality rooms (combination between virtual and augmented reality) will begin to replace home theaters.
• Contact lenses will include screens and eventually cameras.
• We will see electronic media with high-resolution video lenses.
• The mapping will begin to appear through the different surfaces of the home.
• All media and games will be transmitted directly to smart displays, which will become applications running on the walls.
• Immersive video in high resolution will become a standard.
• Immersive audio will require using fewer speakers.
• The end of most free-to-air television will come: the channels will be reduced to news and sports.

TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico 2016 will be held from August 10 to 12 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City and will bring together around 100 organizations in an area of more than 5 thousand square meters.
