Audio-Technica's new DJ product line includes the ATH-PRO5X circumaural headphones and ATH-PRO7X overhead headphones, the AT-LP1240-USB XP professional direct-drive turntable and the AT-XP5 and AT-XP7 moving magnet cartridges.
The new headphone models available in black or white feature impressive power management, isolation, robust buildmanship and comfort for long sessions. The PRO5X are equipped with 40 mm elements and offer a maximum input power of 1500 mW, while the PRO7X are equipped with 45 mm elements and offer a maximum input power of 2000 mW, both capable of obtaining extraordinary sound reproduction even at high volumes.
In turn, the AT-LP1240-USB XP offers a host of high-performance features that make it ideal for professional, mobile and club DJs, using a powerful, three-phase, 16-pole direct-drive motor to deliver compromising speed stability as well as easy use of scratching. changes of direction and quiet operation at 33-1/3, 45 or 78 RPM.
In addition, the turntable is complemented by two mobile magnet phonographic cartridges, with a combination of high-fidelity performance and scratching capability. Its 0.3 x 0.7 mm elliptical attached needle follows the groove of the disc with great precision for exceptional audio reproduction and its phenylene polysulfide (PPS) / fiberglass composite baffle minimizes unwanted vibrations. In addition, the cartridge is designed to offer maximum visibility of the needle tip for precise cueing.
