Casio leads sales of lampless projectors

Latin America. According to the results published by Futuresource Consulting, a market research company, Casio remains the world leader in sales within the lampless projector market, in the category of luminosity from 2,500 lumens.

This is the seventh consecutive year, out of a total of eight, in which the Casio LampFree family achieves this position, which consolidates it as one of the most important manufacturers of mercury lamp-free projectors.

Futuresource Consulting is a research and consulting firm, based in England, specializing in statistical market information, related to technology, consumer electronics, professional audio and video equipment, educational systems and image. With more than 30 years of experience in the field, Futuresource Consulting is one of the most reliable sources in terms of sales projection, data analysis and financial results.

In 2010, Casio began the development of projection systems that would replace the traditional mercury lamp as a light source, with a hybrid laser / LED source that would not only be more efficient and durable, but also generate a lower impact on the environment by complying with the standards and regulations of the Minamata Convention, which seeks to regulate the use and correct handling of mercury, highly toxic element.

Since then, Casio's LampFree family has revolutionized the video projector industry by providing a clean, functional solution that also offers great savings in total cost of ownership, thanks to its 20,000 hours of service life and low service and repair costs.

These attributes and advantages are extremely attractive for various types of users, especially in the educational sector whose daily workload requires low energy consumption equipment, which operates for extended periods of time and has multiple options for wired and wireless connectivity. In Mexico, institutions such as La Salle del Bajío, ITAM, Universidad Anáhuac del Mayab, CECyTE Guanajuato, Aliat Universidades and Universidad Cuauhtémoc Querétaro have integrated Casio LampFree projectors in their facilities, with audiovisual solutions ranging from 50 to 100 teams distributed among classrooms, computer laboratories, auditoriums and multipurpose rooms.
