Bose sounded spinning session at building helipad

Mexico. Last Saturday, March 10, the spinning room Studio Velocity, carried out an innovative activity to promote its services by offering three training sessions in the heliport of the Arcos Bosques building, one of the highest in the West of Mexico City.

Studio Velocity partners and future partners enjoyed spinning classes under the experienced guidance of the instructors, enjoyed a spectacular view and brought the cadence of the exercises to the rhythm of the music coming from the ShowMatch DeltaQ speaker system of Bose Professional, which ensured power and clarity for the music and intelligibility for the indications that the teachers gave through a microphone.

The company, which emerged in Brazil and already has a strong presence in Mexico, sees music as a fundamental part of its concept; Constant beat, energetic rhythm and intense bass are key ingredients in the musical selection of the instructors, who accentuate the intensity of the exercise with constant messages of encouragement.

Being already Studio Velocity a bose Professional customer for more than a year, the team in charge of this event knew that to match the experience that is lived in the closed room of the branch located in Arcos Bosques – where several RoomMatch speakers and PowerMatch amplifiers give the necessary coverage to the space – in an open place and so complicated to sound, as a helipad is, they would require a system that was not only powerful but also simple to install.

To solve the challenge of sound, Studio Velocity trusted again in the integrator company Ponle Audio, responsible for the sound installed in all the branches of Studio Velocity in Mexico, whose expert team suggested the use of the ShowMatch DeltaQ arrangement system of Bose Profesional which, due to its characteristics, mainly its lightness and versatility, was the ideal option to be used as the main sound source in this unusual, but very demanding application.

Six ShowMatch SM5 modules and four SMS118 subwoofers were placed in two clusters "stacked" in stereo configuration, which managed to cover the area of the Arcos Bosques heliport with high power sound and clear voices, despite the acoustic difficulties that an outdoor space and at such an altitude represents, especially the strong winds and the lack of a forum that catches the sound and redirects it to those present.

During three training sessions, Studio Velocity's team of instructors gave the 90 attendees, many of them novices, an unparalleled rhythmic spinning experience, in a completely different and privileged space. This is the first time the studio has held such an event, but it definitely won't be the last, and once it's repeated or held elsewhere as or more ambitious, Bose Professional sound systems will be there.
