Nortek's ELAN control platform update 8.2 improves various aspects of the application, adding support for the new ELAN Remote product, including a new alarm, IR library management updates, and new AVR features.
The new Discovery feature makes installation easier for integrators by automatically detecting and configuring compatible devices on IP networks, including wireless ones, finding them with their IP and MAC addresses and installing them with one click.
Likewise, the software has the new special visualization function for integrators, which renders a personalized plan of the installation and also allows to control subsystems in a 2D and 3D space, which combined with the Event Map function, allows users to see where a security sensor was activated, both on a 2D and 3D map.
Other features of the software include an alarm panel that allows users to create alarms at once or with repetitions, and a secure configuration with a password.
