Brazil. Nemooh Servicos de Mídia was the company in charge of installing the first 1,000 digital signage screens on the buses of the public service of Sao Paulo, which will benefit about 11.3 million people who use these buses monthly.
"This deployment is the result of a collaboration that began in 2007 upon realizing that BroadSign and Nemooh Mídia share a vision of potential out-of-home digital technology in Brazil," said Skip Beloff, BroadSign's Vice President of Sales.
The installed equipment is 22-inch LED screens, vandal-proof. For the management of the contents, among which are contemplated real-time news, entertainment, sports and health advice spaced between the announcements of banks, telecommunications and government, the digital signage software of BroadSign International was chosen.
The content is designed in loops of 60 minutes, in segments of 15 seconds, in a format designed for travelers who look at the screens on long daily trips.
"Having worked in digital media for more than 15 years, I can say that Nemooh Mídia brings the most advanced technology to Sao Paulo buses. They operate on ad-based revenue," said Luciano Ramo, CEO at Nemooh Mídia.
According to the company, expansion plans include achieving 4,000 screens installed on 2,000 buses by the end of 2015.
