Latin America. The distributor of audio solutions Synthax, is another of the companies that trusts in LiveTec 2024, and is linked as an exhibitor. LiveTec is the new technology trade show for live events and entertainment venues that will be held in Miami on May 14 and 15.
Regarding the company's link to LiveTec, Carlos Noguera, the company's Sales Director for Latam, told AVI Latin America that "for us participating in this fair is very interesting, in principle because it puts us in front of many people from the industry in the Caribbean, to know what they are doing and how we can help them. Having them all together in one event makes it easier for us to present our solutions, which are more focused on shows and live events, the focus of the show."
AVI Latin America also spoke with Mathias von Heydekampf, managing director of Synthax, who highlighted the need to promote audio education in Latin America, because audio is more important than video and lighting, but it is often not given the necessary importance.
"We are visual people who always think that what you see is more important. My whole life I've been in audio, and it's an uphill battle because, you know, in audio nothing changed as revolutionary as LED lighting and this and that. And here we are. But for me, it's always audio. The audio gets me going. If the video and lighting go away at a concert, but the audio continues, people stay. If the audio goes away, people leave," he explained.
Synthax today has different brands in its portfolio, including RME, Digigram, Ferrofish, Appsys and myMix. They provide solutions such as audio interfaces, converters for the different audio standards, preamps, codecs, and audio streaming.
Finally, regarding the Latin American market, he stressed that they are betting heavily on growth in this sector. To do this, Carlos Noguera joined forces a few weeks ago and they have the engineer Juan Tamayo.
