International. The ICTA (International Film Technology Association) has just distinguished the brand with the Teddy Award for Best Manufacturer of the Year. The award, decided by a vote of ICTA's active members, distinguishes each year the manufacturer of the association "that best exemplifies the progressive principles of product development, offers distributors service and up-to-date technical and commercial information and strongly supports the prestige of its products."
"It is a great honor for Christie to receive this award. In addition, the fact that our colleagues are the ones who have awarded it to us makes it even more valuable," said Kazuhisa Kamiyama, President and CEO of Christie.
He added, "We are firmly committed to continuing to provide our excellent services and to staying at the forefront of film technology. ICTA was founded in 1971 and represents more than 180 manufacturers and film-related companies from around the world. Susie Beiersdorf, Christie's Vice President of Film Sales for the Americas and Brian Claypool, Vice President of Product Management for the brand's Global Cinema, collected the award at an event held at the InterContinental Toronto Centre in the presence of former Christie President and CEO Jack Kline. It is the third time Christie has received this award in its history; the previous ones were in 1998 and 2010.

"Christie has won this award for relentlessly maintaining a high level of technical and sales service, combined with amazing technological development."
