Latin America. Chauvet announced the appointment of Jaime Friedstadt as Director of Business Development and Marketing for the Hispanic markets of the company's Chauvet Professional and Iluminarc divisions.
Prior to joining Chauvet, Friedstadt was International Sales Manager for Philips Entertainment since 2001, driving Latin American sales of all Philips brands for the entertainment industry, including Vari-Lite, Strand Lighting, Selecon and Showline. Prior to this, he served as Sales Manager for Latin America for Hubbell Lighting.
"The experience Jaime will bring from this position coincides with our vision of Chauvet's future in the Latin American market," said Albert Chauvet, President and CEO of Chauvet. "Jaime has a deep understanding of the lighting industry and business culture in Latin America. His expertise in sales, marketing and business development will help us consolidate the momentum we have already established in the region for Chauvet through our dealer network."
Friedstadt will maintain permanent contact with Stéphane Gressier, Chauvet's International Sales Director. "We are very excited to work with Jaime to strengthen and build relationships with customers throughout the Hispanic market," said Gressier.
A graduate of business administration from The Anahuac University in Mexico City, Friedstadt speaks english and Spanish perfectly, as well as having a good command of Portuguese. "I have been deeply involved in the lighting industry for entertainment and architectural applications throughout Latin America for several years," Jaime said. "Being part of an innovative and fast-growing company like Chauvet is an excellent opportunity. I'm very excited to start the activities."
