Argentina. Although global TV sales have fallen, Algerian merchants expect a rebound in this market for the remaining months of this year, marked mainly by smart TVs.
This was recorded in the results of the most recent survey of the consulting firm Marco with the main references of the Argentine market. Those consulted pointed out that smart TVs between 32 and 46 inches will be the most sought after during this period.
In part, expectations are supported by the fact that traditionally the second half of the year is more active than the first six months, in terms of the amount of sales. In addition to smart TVs, tablets and smartphones with Android operating system will also be among the products that will sell the most until December.
It is not uncommon that with the sales boom that Smartphones are experiencing, the Mobile segment is the most optimistic: 72% expect their sales to grow. Android phones top the forecasts. They will be the best sellers (89% of the market), and also the ones that will grow the most in relation to the previous year (72%).
50% of the Retailers surveyed said that the leading product in the segment is, without a doubt, Smart TVs. For 60% of respondents it will be the best-selling product, and for the same percentage it will be the one that will grow the most in sales compared to last year. Far away are the rest of CE's products.
