Biamp Systems unveiled its latest VoIP training and certification program. Aimed specifically at professionals in the audio and video industry, the course is designed to establish a better understanding of VoIP technology and the SIP protocol, in order to help its participants design better systems and in turn diagnose any type of problem as far as VoIP installations are concerned. The purpose is to provide Biamp® integrators with the necessary tools to design, integrate and solve problems in the integration of Biamp products with VoIP telephony systems. "Today, businesses are increasingly incorporating VoIP technology into their day-to-day operations. However, this is still complicated, and to date there have been no training programs focused on VoIP applications in the audiovisual industry," said Kiley Henner, director of customer experience for Biamp. Biamp's VoIP certifications are offered through a series of videos allowing participants to learn at their own pace. Training videos can be accessed at any time, and all sessions are available for free.
