For that, through the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism of Chile, they are promoting the "Seal of efficiency", which will qualify with letters from "A" to "G", depending on the degree of energy efficiency and taking into account that the "A" will be the best rating. In this way, according to Ministry officials**, they seek to increase the construction of homes with high energy efficiency standards.** In addition, they want this not to be an issue only for high-strata housing, they also want it to be included in subsidized housing. The assessment of homes will include aspects that require high energy consumption, such as hot water, heating systems and lighting.
