Sony participated in the last version of Medica 2016, a fair held between November 14 and 17, in which it presented its latest comprehensive solutions that will enable more efficient diagnoses, surgeries and postoperative treatments. Medica attendees were able to see how Sony's innovations enable high-quality video and images to be captured, shared and displayed more efficiently in today's connected hospital environments. The demonstration included two interconnected surgical workflow areas. Showcasing a whole new generation of intelligent workflow solutions for integrated operating rooms, they showed how medical staff can capture, share and display images recorded during operation across the hospital network, in Full HD and 4K. The configuration of the operating room will be assisted by NUCLeUS, Sony's new video over IP platform, which offers comprehensive IP communication. Thanks to the new NU-IP40S or NU-IP40D IP converters, the platform improves the surgical workflow by integrating planning in the operating room, a predefined configuration by the surgeon and an instant collaboration function. Outside of the operating room, staff have access to surgical content and an online video-on-demand platform, so you can watch the content you need when you need it. - Publicidad - As part of its commitment to improving image display, Sony showcased its latest surgical monitors at the event. The new surgical monitors LMD-X550MT (55") and LMD-X310MT (31") combine 4K and 3D for the first time to deliver high levels of brightness, higher resolution and increased depth of field. This will help surgeons make more informed decisions and improve training. These will be joined by the new Full HD monitors LMD-2735MD (27") and LMD-2435MD (24"), which offer superior image quality at an affordable price, designed for use with endoscopic camera systems in minimally invasive surgical interventions. The Cledis display solution, which displays attractive images at any scale, also had its place at the event.
