AMCP is a Brazilian company producing audio and residential automation systems with 14 years in the market and today seeks to expand throughout the region. As a first step toward that expansion, the company participated for the first time in Cedia Expo in Dallas. There, AVI LATINOAMÉRICA had the opportunity to speak with Harald Willi, its director and founder, who told more details about this expansion process and what the first objectives are. "We are looking for a greater international presence, that's why we participated in Cedia this year. Although it is a fair in the United States, many people come from Latin America and that is the contact we are looking for. We want to be in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, among others," he said. One of the novelties of the company presented in Cedia was the advanced multiroom amplifier, which offers possibilities of 4 or 6 zones, and has 6 audio sources, 2 of which are internal with FM and Airplay tuner and four external analog sources. - Publicidad - This amplifier can be controlled directly from the browser of any device with the IP of the computer. It provides 50 watts of power for each zone and to extend it you can connect an additional amplifier, because each zone has individually input and output. Finally, Harald Willi pointed out that although Brazil is in recession, he expects that the AV market will grow more in the coming months after the political situation experienced in the last year. "The residential segment is contracted but it is not impossible.
