During the last version of Cedia Expo, the Legrand company presented its solutions for residential automation, under the Vantage brand, which includes wired and wireless options. Javier Rubio, Business Developer Latin America of Bticino, the company under which Legrand operates in Mexico, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that one of the benefits of the Vantage automation system is that it can work without problems with equipment of any brand. "Through profiles and scenarios, the user can generate pre-designed environments for any part of the house. The user can confer each of these profiles autonomously thanks to its ease of use, for which it does not require calling an expert. And through an app, the user can access their systems from their mobile device and even activate them when they go back home," he said. He added that one of the most important issues for users is network security.
